Apakah Makna Ibadah?

Ibadah secara bahasa bermakna merendahkan diri dan tunduk.

Sedang secara istilah, ulama banyak memberikan makna. Namun makna yang paling lengkap adalah seperti yang didefinisikan oleh Syaikhul Islam Ibnu Taimiyah, yaitu:

 Suatu kata yang meliputi segala perbuatan dan perkataan; zahir maupun batin yang dicintai dan diredhai oleh Allah Ta’ala. Dengan demikian ibadah terbagi menjadi tiga, yaitu: ibadah hati, ibadah lisan dan ibadah anggota badan.

Firman Allah Ta’ala:
وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْأِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُون
“Tidak Aku ciptakan jin dan Manusia melainkan hanya untuk beribadah kepada-Ku.” (QS. Adz –Dzariyat: 56 )

Ibadah juga terbahagi kepada ibadah umum dan ibadah khusus.

Ibadah yang khusus seperti solat, puasa di bulan Ramadhan, membayar zakat dan menunaikan haji jika berkemampuan. Ibadah khusus ditentukan bagaimana hendak dilakukannya , bila waktunya, semuanya diajarkan secara khusus oleh Nabi Muhammad SAW

Manakala ibadah umum/ am ialah segala, semua  perkara yang kita buat samada melalui lisan, perbuatan
Kerana Allah, dicintai dan diredhai oleh Allah..

Berdakwah juga salah satu ibadah, belajar kerana Allah, belajar bersungguh – sungguh supaya dengan kejayaan yang insyaAllah kita bakal menyumbang utk negara dan agama juga ibadah, membantu orang dalam kesusahan, melakukan tugasan dengan penuh tanggungjawab dan amanah, telus malah sekecil kecil perkara dari hatta makan dan tidur untuk kemaslahatan diri dalam meneruskan perjuangan adalah ibadah jika didasari iman, kesedaran dan niat..

Mudahnya Islam, betapa Allah sayang pada kita dan tidak lokek untuk memberikan kita pahala yang banyak dan memudahkan kita ke syurga jika kita beriman dan beramal dengannya. Sedangkan syurga itu milik Allah, nyawa dan harta itu juga milik Allah, segalanya milik Allah.

Sudahlah kita memang diciptakan untuk menjadi hamba dan mengabdikan diri kepada Nya, sepatutnya kita tiada bantahan dan melawan, malah mesti turut patuh dan jika patuh dan menurut arahan sekalipun, itu baru dikira ‘serve the purpose’..

Macam peti sejuk, kalau tak sejuk, tak dipanggil peti sejuk, memang tujuan diciptakan untuk menyejukkan makanan..jadi kalau sejuk, barulah ‘serve the purpose ‘

Tapi Allah sangatlah penyayang, kalau kita ‘serve the purpose’, terus diberikan ganjaran pahala yang melimpah ruah dan dijanjikan syurga, walhal kalau kita ‘serve the purpose ‘ pun tk layak kita ke sana sebab dh memang itu kerja/tugas kita.

Allah SWT berfirman yang maksudnya:

"Hai sekalian orang-orang yang beriman. Sukakah kalau saya tunjukkan kepadamu semua akan sesuatu perdagangan yang dapat menyelamatkan engkau semua dari siksa yang menyakitkan? Yaitu supaya engkau semua beriman kepada Allah dan RasulNya dan pula berjihad fi-sabilillah dengan harta-harta dan dirimu semua. Yang sedemikian itu adalah lebih baik untukmu semua, jikalau engkau semua mengetahui.

`Allah juga akan mengampunkan dosa-dosamu semua serta memasukkan engkau semua dalam syurga-syurga yang mengalirlah sungai-sungai di bawahnya, demikian pula beberapa tempat tinggal yang indah di syurga 'Adn - kesenangan yang kekal - dan yang sedemikian itu adalah suatu keuntungan yang besar.

Ada pula pemberian-pemberian yang Iain-Iain yang engkau semua mencintainya, yaitu pertolongan dari Allah dan kemenangan yang dekat dan berikanlah berita gembira kepada orang-orang yang beriman." 
(as-Shaf: 10-13)


Jadi marilah sama – sama kita beribadah kepada Allah.. Ibadah umum ataupun khusus
Kita melaksanakan semua yang wajib, solat 5 kali sehari, berpuasa sebulan di bulan Ramadhan, membayar zakat sekiranya cukup haul dan nisab dan menunaikan haji ke Mekah jika mampu.

Kemudian kita mempertambahkan amalan berpuasa sunat, solat sunat rawatib, solat sunat tahajjud,berzikir memuji Allah, bersedekah.

Dan mari juga kita sama – sama melaksanakan ibadah umum..ibadah khusus menyediakan prinsip asas yang kita dapat apply dalam ibadah umum..

Puasa – mendidik kesabaran, amanah walaupun tiada siapa yang tahu anda sedang berpuasa, boleh je kalau nk minum atau makan senyap2 di rumah, tiada siapa yang tahu kan?

Tapi kita masih tetap teguh berpuasa, jadi prinsip ini kita mesti ambil, dan menjayakan ibadah umum.
Mustahil perkara rasuah, mengumpat, mancuri, pecah amanah berlaku, ini boleh dihalang dan ini adalah ibadah umum hasil dari tarbiyah ibadah khusus!

Solat 5 kali sehari juga mendidik kita berdisiplin, berjemaah mendidik kita bersatu, menunjukkan solidarity kita sesame muslim, menundukkan ego..apakah ini tidak boleh dilaksanakan di luar masjid? Di tempat kerja? Apa beza antara specialist dan MO? Apa beza pemimpin negara dengan rakyat bawahan?  Bukankah dalam masjid suasananya harmoni, solat bersebelahan bersentuh kaki dan bahu, bersalaman selepas solat?

Membayar zakat mendidik kita tidak lokek memberi, adakah bila tiba dan datangnya bencana kepada saudara kita di belahan dunia yang lain, kita cepat - cepat menghulurkan bantuan, memberikan apa yang kita mampu kepada saudara kita dan untuk agama kita?

Digabungkan ibadah khusus yang mantap ( wajib + sunat ) ditambah pula dengan ibadah umum ( dalam cara kita meneruskan kehidupan, bekerja, belajar, hidup bermsyarakat, berpolitik, menguruskan diri ), insyaAllah kita mampu menggapai syurga Nya, amin!

Hip Hop / rap music never fail to amaze me

this is more than simply music
some says it is a culture or subculture

consist of 4 elements :

a) emcee ( MC ) - rapping or spitting verses while the music being played
b) DJ - essential to control the ceremony and crowd, using
            old or newly electronic turntables for mixing and scratching
c) graffiti - art lovers spray or paint wall with colourful , amazing words, messages or pictures..nowadays not only walls but also cars, shoes, u name it
d) breakdancing - some moves such as 6 steps, flares, head spins while music is on

some others may add one more which is skating or associate hip hop with riding scooters but depends on which region/ continent u are..skinheads also riding scooters and punks also play skateboard..

during the hip hop booming era 1990 - 2010 maybe, clothing apparel also make hip hop
stand on it's on

du rag, baggy jeans, huge jersey, sneakers, snapback caps, wristband, necklace, hairstyle as cornrolls
distinguish this scene from the others..





but now this particular type of dressing already submerged
but the culture still live on, still connecting between various part of the world from US
to Europe cross the middle east and straight to south east asia..

i still love rap particularly if not hip hop culture as a whole..

rap is a modern poetry

u can express your own ideas, thinking, your emotion thru your music
you can spit the anger, the dpression, the hatred in positive way than rather go out and scold or knock down the person..

even rap music nowadays not only for those emotional thing but it can be used to deliver political
message, awareness, educate people , spreading Islamic message

maybe some people thought that rap only spitting a fast verse while the beat is on but that's not true
u need skills, u need creativity

there are punchlines, flow, wordplay, fast n slow ,rhyming,
 not same monotous maintain speed , that will be boring

Lego : menjadikan anda kreatif

Mungkin ramai antara kita pernah bermain lego masa kecik2 dulu kan

Teringat yang parents kita beli lego ataupun mungkin pernah main masa kat tadika or paling kurang
masa kelas Kemahiran Hidup masa sekolah rendah..


tapi kebanyakan lego tu yang lego brick standard sebab tu yang paling murah dan kurang berbahaya..
lego brick standard tanpa motor, wayar, roda dan gear..

kalau masa sekolah rendah dulu pun masa Kemahiran Hidup banyak lego yang hilang atau tak de part tentu untuk kita bina sesuatu yang baru.. seronok nye bila teringat balik zaman sekolah dulu..

tiba2 teringat balik pasal lego ni bila tengok kat youtube baru2 ni tentang opening Legoland Malaysia, no 6th in the world and 1st in Asia..


bila tengok video2 kat youtube baru perasan yang budak2 kecik kat oversea ni dari kecik lagi dorang dh start main Lego dan ini sangat2 menjadikan dorang ni kreatif

Patutla negara dorang ni maju sebab kanak - kanak dorang ni kecik2 lagi dah main benda2 yang canggih macam ni..bukan lego brick standard biasa2 tapi boleh custom made lagi!



insyaAllah bila Malaysia makin developed and Malaysians ada income yang lebih, mungkin boleh start educate anak2 kita dengan permainan yang macam ni, membina minda, jadikan lebih kreatif dan mencipta sesuatu yang baru malah boleh rapatkan hubungan antara anak dan ayah..








mungkin zaman kita dulu parents kita pun kurang mampu tapi alhamdulillah sekarang taraf hidup kita makin meningkat, why not kita ubah hobi. minat anak2 kita dengan kita didik dorang dgn permainan mcm ni kan?

kita yang dah besar2 ni pun leh je nk kembali ke zaman budak2 balik,hehe

jom tengok apa yang dorang dh buat dengan lego!

 To seek knowledge is a sacred duty, it is obligatory on every Muslim, male and female. The first word revealed of the Quran was "Iqra" READ! Seek knowledge! Educate yourselves! Be educated.

Surah Al-Zumr, ayah 9 reveals: "Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know?" Surah Al-Baqarah, ayah 269 reveals: "Allah grants wisdom to whom He pleases and to whom wisdom is granted indeed he receives an overflowing benefit."

born in UK, while having parents  back in multicultural, multiracial Malaysia, with younger brother in Australia and soon the youngest will pursue study in Korea, currently stdying in Czech Republic and not – so - frequent traveller across several European countries ,having friends from all background from Iranian, Egyptians, Taiwanese, Pakistanis, British, Turkish, Czech , Singaporean and the list goes on, I met different  people, different culture, different way of handling problems .Be it religious, Islamist, Nationalist, secularist, do- not – seem to – bother etc

The obvious problems in which separate us sometimes are the manner, the attitude and prejudice towards others due to their ignorant or false info by mainstream media esp toward muslims.

Well, I do not blame the laymen esp the nationalist who love their country and proud of it. Majority of them also very nice people..  But the government policy make it worst

Why spend billions of euro or dollars for having wars when u can educate people to help solve your very own self grown hatred seed in your own backyards?

People say bye to poverty when they get education and people wave goodbye to ignorantly fuelled hatred for things they do not know if they managed to get educated

They learned and realized and this is what shaped them in future.

Pamper the hatred do not go anywhere.

The act of aggression toward others because they are different from you cannot be tolerated while acting brazenly like you are in your own country ( if you are foreigner ), disrespect local people and their culture, way of life or try to dominate the area or neighbourhood and feeling strong becoz u are great in numbers doesn’t help but worsen the scenario.

The two opposite side which i saw and heard thru the news around the Europeans countries and United States really need to be tackle with simple way, back to the basic, back to the root of the problem

Why complaint about mass immigration in your neighbouring town before you realise your government foreign policy stationed many troops in their homeland or ‘buying’ cheaply their petroleum and exploiting almost all the resources that they have?

Yes I pity the locals, the ordinary people of European countries and also ordinary Americans which also strive hard to make the living now facing their jobs being taken away by these cheap labourers, which do not really mind working hard for less money, their homes being robbed, social problem, killings, racial tensions, increased racially motivated crimes, slum areas, no go area now sky rocketed, these immigrants became citizen and also demand their right and so on..

Instead of focusing in maintaining  the progress of country development, a lot of money and energy being wasted to solve this problem in their own country while at the same time lot more being spent in wars for example NATO intervention in Afghanistan and also Libya..

It is ironic to see while at the international level France and Britain being the key player in determining who  they will keep in power, which country next they will intervene, even France will support the arm supply to the fighters in Syria against Bashar al Assad but in Paris, their own citizen facing very high unemployment rates, lot of crimes, the public transport such as metro still using the old dirty ones, its confusing to see the contradiction..In Britain we heard about these muslims gang rape thingy, racially motivated killings and etc..in America as White Moore written in his book, public school really in devastating condition and in dire need of major repair..In Russia, political system not working well, the ruling elites seem to expoit every possible way and forming cartel to protect their dirty business even for the people to ask their municipal representative to repair the potholes in the road they need to publicize it thru social media by painting the face of the elected members to make it work! Still Russian government n US government busy interfering other countries affairs not paying attention at their own domestic problems!

Why the people still listen to the lies of their government? The era of government knows all and knows the best are varnished. People shud decide, not the government

Education are the tools.

Why busy interfering other country business?

Canada for example, nobody cares to threaten them coz they do not interfering other countries business, not like America which is warmongering states, preemptive strike doctrine and building their army bases around the world and force the other to listen to them which resulting themselves to be in very deep problems, everybody now hates them and try to sabotages them.

Instead of doing this, why not withdraw your troops from the 3^rd world countries, use the military budget for arms races and maintaining the bases to educate the people of your own country and their homeland?

The educated person more valuable than 1 bullet. Give them education, let them build and develop their own country, do business sincerely with them and i really believe this not only bring peace to the world but also solving the domestic problems that now Europeans and Americans are facing at their doorstep, the mass immigration and all those problems I stated earlier..

When they are developed, they don’t bother to go to your country for being slave and etc but rather go to visit your country as tourist bring more income, more benefit and at same time no more racial clashes, no need for far right groups, no need for KKK, Ander Breivik etc..

Even with more educated people, they will learn the proper behaviour n manner to integrate in society and not only live in their own community.. with increased future of this country and increased income, they can always be the best market for this superpower to sell their product coz this so called 3^rd world countries now having the ‘buying power’..

More income, less problems, better world for everyone!

Europeans in Dilema : At the crossroads

Based on my very few and limited experience travelling throughout Europe for holidays, I have noticed few differences between newly EU member countries and the long time member of the Union.

From what I saw the people of European countries are in dilemma. for those in France and Germany for instances, they are massive developed countries with top facilities and public amenities and we can say they are among the economic powerhouse of the continent..

Be it strong militarily or economically, they are among the favourite tourist destinations and its economy boom to due massive influx of foreign investments and top services they provide..

But there is one problem. Immigration.. massive immigration

Influx of immigrants from the so called 3^rd world countries created few positive and few negatives influence on these countries direct or indirectly.. they are being brought here to Europe during the colonization days back in 19 centuries.. Hundred thousands  of Pakistanis, Indians and Malaysians went to Britain during those days.. Today more and more going there due to business opportunity, working and to further their study there.

A lot of Indonesians be it Javanese or others in The Netherland,  Algerians to France to support the industrial revolution during the old days. these labours needed for the economic demand. European countries produce a lot of product from the raw material from these countries which they colonized and the people bought here as the workers.

So they grew and plough thru the next centuries with glory and success.

Today? European still be lucrative market and dreamland for those in 3^rd world countries..

High living standard, excellent public health care, abundant housing estate and more job for workers.

3 factors keep the immigrants still in the sight :

1   1)     The generations who grew up in these countries for years, coming from their parents or families which were the labours..

2) After independence, the citizen of former colonized countries will seek better chance in their ex – imperial power country..They pay high respect and high regard for these country especially when comparing their own homeland which of course these Europeans countries be more developed and left them behind so far

      3)     Economic policy due to open free market welcome anybody from anywhere to to do business here.

But here now u face huge problem, the legacy of immigrant workers now grew up and be the citizen of ur country.. either it black, brown or what colour it doesn’t matter..send back home? No, they are your citizen.. so how?need to deal with it by hook or by crook.

During recent visit to Paris, the negative side really obvious

French really reluctant n cold to foreigners like me..why?

The answer is because they think a lot of problem already here and u just be another of it

The metros is very dirty, people in diff colour, u can see the variation but mostly black

I can see the white French 1 out of 7 blacks almost everywhere in public transport

They do speak French but still 30 – 60 years here doesn’t seem to change much. Still bring the culture form their origin country. Litter are everywhere, talking loud and make noises in metros, disrespect others , stinking alleys and stairs.. I must say not all like this and I’m not stereotyping but u can see it majority of them do not integrate well..

Out of this i can say maybe 30% of this might struggle enough to get out of the circle of poverty, but the rest?

And the one who are success now start to take over the high social public institution or business market.

I saw few Arabs and Bangladeshi run and owned the souvenir shop near the heart of Notre Dam while 1 french white girl just be the ordinary worker. This is not causing problem if all play well and be in good relation with each other but the situation might get sour when all these people will speak in their native mother tongue with their attitude sometimes contradict with the norm of Europeans or locals ( shouting or talking loudly or easily get angry and annoyed ), the locals might feel they are being driven out form their own land or their country and opportunity being taken by these people.

So this contribute to the imbalance in society..Then this will lead to more complicated problem, the politicians or some right wing group will play this issue and give birth to ultra nationalist or ultra white supremacist and as u all know where it leads.

Back in Czech where I study and Hungary or Poland for instance which I have some time spared there, u can see the diff.. clean and nice, all white and clear

Really, I bet u can see the diff between this 2 countries, the well known western Europe and former eastern block or  nowadays new central European countries

Very nice here ( new EU countries ) but as I told you  before, they are at the crossroads.

Where to proceed and which direction to sail your country?

Here people quite nice and friendly but some of them really treat u badly coz they never seen a foreigners before so they feel threatened or fell insecure maybe.

The cities not that huge, not many popular tourist spot although it is very nice old architecture and heritage, more to discover actually, come explore for yourself!

The metro and tram very old ones like in Budapest.

Money flow  just  ok, not vibrant, few business opportunities, English not widely spoken.

They are partially open to the outside world, to the challenging world market

So how?

Either u stay in these close guarded like back in soviet days where u can preserve your culture,

tolerant behaviour,  your European living style or monoculture but at same time but slow economic growth, lack tourist,l ack international community, lack business opportunity

OR

Ready to move forward to be next new growth engine and powerhouse for EU as other neighbours in western Europe with extensive network, world class facilities, high influx of money pouring in, booming market, well on and be on world map but at same time

To be ready with these social reengineering problems?

Really for me as a non EU citizen and be enhere 5 years already,I love Europe and its people, their culture, their open- minded and so on n so forth, i really feel it very very hard for them to decide. Once u decided, no way to turning it back

I really hope the best for them!
